Welcome to the silly season! That great time of year where the rumors get thick with intrigue. And in our off season, it’s what keeps us warm until we get back to the track. Who’s running where? Who’s running what? What series is going to have which drivers gracing the clay come April? You’ve seen this section on various websites, but if you follow more than one division, it’s multiple mouse clicks. Until now…..

We’ll help keep you updated on the happenings in all three top divisions here at TDN. It’s what we do, saving your fingers and keeping it all on the same page!
So check in periodically, we’ll be updating this frequently and will announce via twitter/facebook when we’ve refreshed it!

1/29/19- Dave Darland will once again race on the USAC National Sprint Tour driving for Chase Briscoe Racing in 2019

1/24/19- Trey Starks and Gobrecht Motorsports will race Knoxville weekly and other races and tracks in the geography.

1/23/19- Dale Blaney will make his return to the Ollies Bargain Outlet ASCoC driving for Sam McGhee in 2019.

1/21/19- Tim Shaffer will start out as a Platinum Member of the World of Outlaws NoS Energy Drink Sprint Cars in 2019.

1/20/19- George Hobaugh will compete with the Ollies Bargain Outlaet ASCoC in 2019.

12/31/18- Aaron Reutzel has announced that he will be racing with the All Star Sprint Car Circuit of Champions once again in 2019 looking to repeat as series champion.

12/20/18- Brady Bacon will be reunited with Hoffman Auto Racing again in 2019 on the USAC National Sprint Car Tour driving the memorable ‘Mean Green” #69 entry.

12/18/18- Kasey Kahne announced he will run 50 plus dates in a 410 Sprint Car in 2019 following his retirement with NASCAR. He will appear at Volusia at the DIRTcar Nationals and will be found at WoO and All Star events plus crown jewel events as well.

12/14/18- Paul McMahan will tour with the All Star Circuit of Champions in 2019 with TI22 Performance onboard as a sponsor.

12/10/18- Heffner Motorsports reports that Ryan Smith will pilot their Central, PA based,  410 Winged Sprint Car entry in 2019 following the passing of the late Greg Hodnett. (Rest in peace Greg….godspeed)

12/8/18- Spencer Bayston will be driving for Pete Grove Motorsports and making a run at the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car title in 2019 with Wes Counts involved as a major sponsor.

12/8/18- Brock Zearfoss will be driving for Pete Grove and Premier Motorsports on the All Star Circuit of Champions Tour in 2019.

12/7/18- Zane Hendricks will compete with the USAC National Sprint Car and Midget Tours in 2019 driving for Goodnight Racing

12/6/18- USAC National Midget Schedule has been released and will feature 44 dates in 2019.

12/6/19- Justin Grant will pilot the Topp Motorsports entry once again with the USAC National Sprint Car Tour in 2019.

12/5/18- Chad Boespflug and Eberhardt Zirzow Racing have re-united and will run the USAC National Sprint Car Schedule in 2019.

12/4/18- The 2019 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Schedule has been released featuring 92 dates in the upcoming season.

12/4/18- Chris Windom will once again compete on the USAC National Sprint Car Tour in the Goacher Racing #5G with NoS Energy Drink as the prime sponsor.

11/29/18- CJ Leary will partake in the USAC National Sprint Car Tour once again in 2019, driving Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports.

11/28/18- The Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series 2019 schedule has been released. The tour will feature 56 dates opening up on January 31 at Bubba Raceway park and concluding with the Four Crown Nationals in October at Eldora Speedway.

11/27/18- Donny Schatz will welcome new crew chief Steve Swenson after former crew chief Rick Warner has been named to lead a new Ford engine R&D department at Tony Stewart Racing.

11/27/18- Tim Kaeding will race in a Jason Sides Motorsports entry for World of Outlaw West Coast Swings, the Knoville Nationals and other events in a potential 28 race schedule in 2019 per insidelinepromotions.com

1/17/18- Daryn Pittman will drive the Roth #83 entry on The World of Outlaws tour in 2019 per press release.

11/16/18- Greg Wilson will still have prime support from Hercules Tires for another three years but will scale back his racing in 2019 and will not tour full time with The World of Outlaws. A regional/semi-national true outlaw schedule or ASCoC travel is currently expected.

11/15/18- Cory Eliason and Roth Motorsports have parted ways, Elison will pilot the #26 Rudeen Racing entry in 2019. At this time no schedule has been announced. EDIT 12/8/18- Schedule will have ASCoC as prime touring objective in 2019.

11/4/18- Brent Marks will race with The World of Outlaws once again in 2019 per comment at the year end banquet.

11/4/18- Ian Madsen will run again with The World of Outlaws again in 2019 per comment at the season ending banquet.

11/1/18- Logan Schuchart will continue with The World of Outlaws in 2019 per press release from oncoming sponsor Drydene Performance Products.

11/1/18- Jacob Allen will race with The World of Outlaws again in 2019 per statement.

10/31/18- David Gravel will pilot the #41 car for Jason Johnson racing. Gravel will tour with The World of Outlaws once again in 2019 per press release.

10/30/18- Carson Macedo will take the wheel of the Kyle Larson Racing #2 car running a World of Outlaws schedule with Joe Gaerte as crew chief per press release.

10/24/18- Shane Stewart will pilot the CJB Motorsports entry on The World of Outlaws tour in 2019 per press release.

10/22/18- Max Stambaugh will compete in a true outlaw schedule in 2019 for Home Pro Racing with WoO, ASCoC, FAST and other series comprising the schedule.

10/3/18- RJ Johnson will call Knoxville Raceway home once again in 2019 driving for VanderEcken/Johnson Racing. He will be taking part in WoO races in the area and has not ruled out a trip to Pennsylvania per press release.

1/28/19- Steve Casebolt will race a true outlaw schedule with WoO/Lucas/Ethanol Series dates and standard crown jewels in 2019 .

1/25/19- Mike Wonderling will compete with the United Late Model Series in 2019

1/24/19- Don O’Neal will compete on the Lucas Oil Late Model Series in 2019 for CBR

1/19/19- Eriez Speedway has been purchased by local businessman Dave Alexander and will operate in 2019 with identical or similar weekly program and scheduled special events will occur.

1/15/19- Shannon Buckingham will plan on racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series in 2019.

1/10/19- David “Slowride” Scott will compete with the United Late Model Series in 2019 for owner Terry Suppa.

12/20/18- Dave Hess Jr. will compete with the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Models in 2019 with Chew on This Jerky as primary sponsor.

12/18/18- Johnny Pursley will replace Dustin Mitchell in the Corky Williams owned #32 in 2019 most likely in regional Super Late Model action with a mix of Carolina Clash and Ultimate Series events comprising the schedule.

12/17/18- Ricky Weiss will compete on the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Tour in 2019 with cars from Bloomquist/Sweet manufacturing

12/17/18- GR Smith will compete with the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Models in 2019.

12/17/18- Ohio based pilot Chuck Hummer will take his open hauler and one man band on the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model tour in 2019.

12/17/18- Louisiana’s Cade Dillard will climb out of USMTS Modifieds and into a MB Customs Late Model in 2019 and will compete with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models.

12/9/18- Tim McCreadie will compete in the Longhorn house car once again in 2019 and has made a switch to Bilstein Shocks which was announced in a partnership release. Schedule will be contingent on additional funding and crew help possibilities.

12/6/18- Donald McIntosh will return to the seat of the Blount Motorsports entry in 2019

12/5/18- Devin Moran will pilot the #1 Dunn Benson Motorsports entry with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series in 2019.

12/4/18- The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Schedule has been released featuring 47 race nights.

12/3/18- Florida based pilot Blake Spencer will compete with the World of Outlaw Late Models in 2019 and will also compete for Rookie of the Year honors as well.

12/1/18- Kyle Hardy will race with the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2019 driving a Barry Wright car and will compete for RoY honors as well.

12/1/18- Florida based Late Model pilot Blake Spencer will race with the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2019, chasing RoY honors in the process. Spencer will utilize Rocket XR-1 and Durham Power

11/27/18- Darrell Lanigan will return to the seat of the Club29 House car in 2019 per press release.

11/27/18- Brandon Overton will take the wheel of the Rum Runner Racing #2 entry, replacing Joey Coulter as the primary driver in 2019. Schedule will be determined after Speedweeks.

11/27/18- Josh Richards will pilot the #14 Clint Bowyer Racing entry in 2019, replacing Darrell Lanigan. Richards will remain on the Lucas Oil Tour.

11/26/18- Tyler Erb will take over driving duties for the Best Motorsports Late Model entry in 2019. Schedule announcements will be released at a later time.

11/21/18- Tanner English will be driving the #116 Longhorn by Randy Weaver in 2019. Phantom Race Engines will supply the power next season. English will start the season with Lucas events at Golden Isle and East Bay Raceway Park.

11/21/18- Mike Marlar will pilot the familiar Rumley Racing #6 car in 2019 with Kevin Rumley as crew chief. Marlar will not return to national series racing and will run a true outlaw schedule in 2019 utilizing Longhorn Race Cars supplied with Cornett Power.

11/20/18- Chris Madden will return to the World of Outlaws in 2019 with a new team, driving Capital Race Cars for Greg Bruening. The team will use Clements power in the coming season.

11/16/18- Dave Hess will undergo a chassis switch for the 2019 season and will make announcement later on, stay tuned.

11/15/18- USMTS/USRA Modified driver Stormy Scott will be piloting an entry in the Lucas Oil Series in 2019 per statement.

11/9/2018- Veteran pilot Casey Roberts has been released from his contract with Blount Motorsports.

11/8/18- It was announced that WoOLM champion Mike Marlar and car owner Ronnie Delk have parted ways.

11/8/18- World of Outlaw touring driver Rick Eckert and Paul Crowl have parted ways following the 2018 season it was announced at the WoOLM awards banquet.

11/4/18- Chase Junghans will return to World of Outlaw Late Model Series action in 2019.

10/10/18- Veteran driver Skip Arp has called it a career after 40 seasons and 14 Hav-A-Tampa Series wins per InsideDirtRacing.com

10/10/18- Bobby Pierce and Dunn Benson Motorsports have parted ways. Pierce will returned to his family owned equipment in 2019. At this time there is no word on schedule plans per press release.

12/9/18- Merrittville Speedway will be DIRTcar Sanctioned in 2019.

12/9/18- Fonda Speedway will not be DIRTcar Sanctioned in 2019.

12/9/18- Dave Marcucilli will return to the Big Block Modifieds and Mike Payne racing in 2019. At this time there is no firm word on hometrack or schedule.

12/4/18- SuperDIRTcar Series Schedule is released. Normal show purses have been raised to $8,000 to win other shows have increased purse win totals as well. The series will return to Eldora Speedway once again in July of 2019.

12/1/19- The BRP Modified Tour Tentative Schedule has been released. More dates will be added. The tour will make it’s first stop at Ransomville Speedway in 2019 and once again feature stops in the Western, PA/Eastern, OH area and include another stop at Tyler County Speedway in April of 2019.

11/28/18- The Short Track Super Series Schedule has been released. $10,000 to win shows can be found at BAPS Motor Speedway and Fonda Speedway in 2019. The series will also return to Port Royal Speedway on Sunday, March 24.

11/26/18- Ronnie Davis will replace Gary Tomkins in the Coar/Clark Racing Big Block Modified at Brewerton and Weedsport in 2019.

11/24/18- Richie Pratt has been announced as the full time driver of the Danny Sommeling #51 and will call Bridgeport Speedway home in 2019.

11/23/18- Dylan Swineheart will replace Kenny Gilmore behind the wheel of the #81 Bailey Racing entry at Grandview Speedway weekly in 2019.

Dave Constantino will replace Shaun Pangman aboard the Hoyenga Racing #34 entry at Fonda Speedway in 2019.

11/19/18- Billy Decker will return to Gypsum Racing in 2019 competing weekly at Brewerton and full time on the Super DIRTcar Series.

11/15/18- Marc Johnson will replace Chad Jeseo in the Scott Hamlin Racing Big Block entry at Lebanon Valley Speedway in 2010.

11/15/18- Dalton Slack has been named the new driver of the #3RS 358 Modified following the departure of Billy Dunn. Ryan Susice will also remain with the team.

11/13/18- Pavement Modified driver Jimmy Blewett will return to dirt in 2019 and will look to call New Egypt Speedway home.

11/12/18- Matt Williamson will take the wheel of the Buzz Chew Racing #88 in 2019 on the Super DIRTcar Series and other special events. Williamson will also return to the 358 Modified field at Ransomville Speedway on Friday nights.

11/11/18- Sportsman pilot David Marcucilli will move up to the 358 division at Fulton Speedway on Saturday nights in 2019.

11/11/18- Claude Hutchings will return to the 358 Modifieds at Fulton Speedway in 2019.

11/10/18- Mike Mahaney and Buzz Chew Racing have parted ways following the 2018 season.

11/1/18- Billy Dunn has partnered with Bill Cook for the 2019 season.

10/16/18- Johnny Guarino will return to the seat of a Big Block Modified in 2019 driving for Anthony Moran at new Egypt Speedway.
