One of the most successful Super Late Model drivers in the area will be looking to add to his considerable list of achievements in 2019 as regional star “The A-Train”, Alex Ferree is in the planning stages of his upcoming schedule. It will be an ambitious slate of events in the coming season for Alex and team and for this season, the opportunity exists for businesses to join in the success and be a part of great things to come.
Resume Speaks For Itself
In 2018, Ferree saw himself with leads in many of the fields he raced against as he returned to his familiar #4, family owned Rocket XR-1 car driven by Cornett power. It was the first year back in his own equipment following a very successful stint with Joe Corrado Racing that started in 2011. Over the course of the next six seasons, Ferree managed three track championships at Lernerville Speedway and two more titles at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania’s Motor Speedway while averaging 10 wins a season.
In his career to date, Ferree has accumulated 8 track championships in the area and a pair of regional titles via his 2007 and 2008 UFO Late Model championship runs. To date, the Saxonburg, PA native has wins at Bedford Speedway, Roaring Knob Motorsports Park, Mercer Raceway Park, Dog Hollow Speedway, and Marion Center Speedway in a career that dates back to 1997. Ferree has also competed at a very high level in national touring events and crown jewels such as the World 100 and Dirt Track World Championships, adding more layers of experience in high profile events.
