On any night of the DIRTCar Nationals, numerous men who make their living by holding the steering wheel of a NASCAR machine can be seen roaming the pit area at Volusia Speedway Park. While most NASCAR stars enjoy “hanging out” at the dirt track for a night or two, a specific group of racers have endeared themselves to the fans during Speedweeks by COMPETING during the twelve-event grind in Barberville, Florida. Below is a gallery of wheelmen who bring a resume of NASCAR experience to the DIRTCar Nationals, and trade their “spotters” for tear-offs each February.
