Blair’s patience pays off for $3000 ULMS victory

Mother Nature tried her best to put a damper on things but the patience of Promotor Dan Savino and the traveling Zimmer’s Service Center ULMS Super Late Model Series paid off. Dog Hollow got the show in. The weather kept many away but for the 14 super late models that showed up they were rewarded for their dedication.

Max Blair of Centerville Pa and Shawn Claar of Imler Pa lead the field to the green flag. Claar quickly jumped out to the lead. For the first 13 laps Claar kept Blair at bay. As the leader was negotiating lapped traffic Blair’s patience payed off and coming off of turn 4 took the lead. Behind the leader 8th starting Alex Ferree of Saxonburg Pa and Matt Lux of Franklin Pa put on some good racing. Ferree moves up to the 5th spot by halfway.

4th starting Mike Pegher of Cranberry Pa waited for his opportunity to get by Claar who had started to fade In the extra distance race. The leader had caught lapped traffic and Pegher closed in on Blair. But Blair’s patients once again payed off as he was able to secure the $3000 win.

Heats went to Blair and Jared Miley
