Friday Standings – World Finals Pickem

A healthy turnout of contestants tossed their hat into the Pickem ring as 246 is the final count of race fans that placed their picks. We’re only halfway to the finish line, and a lot can still go wrong on the third and final night of the World of Outlaws World Finals.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and World of Outlaws Late Models remained status quo with no huge surprises running up front. On the other hand, we saw a few different faces running up front in the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified 40-lapper than we’re used to seeing.

The hearts of 85% of our Pickem players dropped when Matt Sheppard cut a tire early in the race. With all 184 players’ fates in his hands, he managed to work his way up through a crowded field to salvage a 10th place finish.

Below are the points standings. With three features under our belts, three still remain before we can crown the 2019 TDN World Finals Pickem champion. We’ll check back in tonight after the races to post our final standings.
